User-Generated Content Rights Monitor

Monitor branded hashtags every 3 days for UGC. AI flags commercial-value posts, analyzes sentiment, and prioritizes creators for rights licensing.

Overview

What it does: Every 3 days, this workflow searches your branded hashtag on Instagram (and other platforms). For each UGC post found, it: 1. Analyzes creator profile (followers, engagement, posting frequency) 2. Classifies post sentiment (brand-safe?) 3. Estimates commercial value (can we repurpose this?) 4. Determines rights status (public use OK? Contact needed?) 5. Suggests next steps (contact for commercial license, repost, feature in ads) Results are logged to a Google Sheet with a priority ranking. Your brand team gets Slack alerts on high-value UGC opportunities. Business outcome: Unlock free content to repurpose in marketing. Build relationships with brand advocates. Identify micro-influencers early. Reduce licensing bottlenecks by proactively contacting creators. Average: 3-5 licensable UGC posts per month per brand. Nodes & apps: n8n schedule trigger, Instagram Graph API, OpenAI GPT-4o analysis, Google Sheets logging, Slack notifications. Credentials needed: 1. Instagram Business Account + Graph API credentials 2. OpenAI API key 3. Google Sheets API key 4. Slack workspace access 5. Your branded hashtag (e.g., #YourBrandNameUGC) Setup steps: 1. Convert Instagram account to Business Account (if not already) 2. Get Instagram Graph API credentials via Meta Developers 3. Add OpenAI key for rights analysis 4. Create Google Sheet for UGC tracking (columns: post_id, creator, followers, engagement, sentiment, commercial_value, rights_status) 5. Configure brand hashtag in workflow 6. Set Slack channel (#ugc) for opportunities 7. Test first run manually 8. Activate 3-day schedule 9. Assign someone to review and contact top creators monthly Difficulty: High | Setup time: 20-25 minutes | Price: $29
